Do you enjoy working with your hands and are you interested in high-tech technology? Then this could be your next step. As an Assembler at ASML, you will work on lithography machines that are used to produce microchips for the world's most advanced technologies.

You will work in ASML's cleanroom factory, a unique and highly technological working environment where precision, quality, and teamwork are essential. You do not need to know everything from day one. At ASML, you learn by doing and develop your skills step by step through training, guidance, and hands-on experience.

You are eager to learn and open to feedback. Whether you are already experienced in mechanical assembly or are looking to take the next step in your technical career, your motivation and willingness to develop are important.

  • Education and technical experience
  • A vocational qualification (MBO level 3 or 4) or a bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive, Aerospace, or a comparable discipline.
  • Hands-on experience in a technical production or service environment.
  • Experience with mechanical assembly, testing, adjustment, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with both larger mechanical components and fine mechanical parts.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken, for daily communication and documentation.

After completing a solid training program at the ASML Academy, you will be ready to start working independently within the production environment. As an Assembler, you will build complex systems step by step, following clear work instructions and technical drawings.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Assembling, installing, dismantling, and aligning mechanical parts and modules with a high level of accuracy.
  • Testing and checking systems to ensure they function correctly.
  • Identifying technical issues and working with your team to solve them.
  • Working safely and maintaining a clean, organized, and structured workplace.
  • Contributing to improvements in production and testing processes.
  • Developing new technical skills and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
  • Providing clear updates on progress, issues, and results.
  • You will work in an environment where no two days are exactly the same. Depending on the product and production requirements, you may work on both larger mechanical components and highly precise parts. This makes the role varied and gives you plenty of opportunities to further develop your technical skills.
