We are looking for a Customer Services Officer who enjoys responsibility, variety, and building long-term customer relationships. You are someone who prefers meaningful customer interaction and likes having ownership of your own order portfolio. In this role, accuracy, communication, and collaboration come together naturally.

  • Proven experience as a Customer Services Officer or in order-to-cash / order management
  • Native Italian speaker (mandatory) and Business-level English
  • Experience working with international customers
  • Experience with SAP (preferred)
  • Experience with Salesforce (a plus)
  • Available from around April 1 and able to work during the summer period

You will join an international organisation active in the professional food and ingredients sector, serving business customers across Europe and beyond. The company operates in a dynamic, high-volume environment where customer experience and operational excellence go hand in hand.

As a Customer Services Officer, you are responsible for the full order-to-cash flow for Italian customers. Your daily work includes:

  • Managing customer orders from entry to delivery
  • Monitoring deliveries and proactively resolving issues
  • Handling returns, claims, and customer enquiries
  • Maintaining accurate administration and clean-desk procedures
  • Coordinating with internal teams such as Sales, Planning, and Logistics
  • Building sustainable, long-term customer relationships
  • You will mainly communicate via email, with occasional phone contact, allowing you to focus on quality, accuracy, and continuity rather than call volumes.
