Introductie

For our customer Cummins Emission Solutions in Roermond, we are looking for Machine operators ! Would you like to work as an operator in the automotive industry and grow within a company with a good image in the region? Then respond quickly!

Wat bieden wij je?
  • A starting salary of € 21,19 gross per hour (incl. shift bonus, ADV, and SAO) in 2-shifts
  • A starting salary of € 21,97 gross per hour (including shift bonus, ADV, and SAO) in 3-shifts
  • 8% holiday allowance
  • 27 holidays per year based on full-time employment
  • Travel allowance from 10 km one way
  • A full-time position for a longer period, in 2 or 3 shifts, with a chance of taking over by Cummins

Functieomschrijving

Cummins makes exhaust systems and catalytic converters for passenger cars and trucks. Customers include DAF and Scania. In the position of Machine Operator, you will contribute to the production of exhaust systems/catalysts according to instructions. 

An Operator (machine operator) is responsible for monitoring and operating single machines. The Operator operates the machine independently and is supported in other work by a succeeding operator or Gap Leader. 

What preparation is involved on a daily basis?

  • Attending the start-up meeting before the start of the shift
  • Reading and studying work instructions

What does the execution of this position look like?

  • Operating robotised/automated machines under supervision and monitoring the production process
  • Producing products according to prescribed standards and work instructions

Within this position, you will also perform checks, such as:

  • Visual inspection of the product and work area
  • Checking the produced products, using a caliper or control jig
