Introduction

As a Customer Service Officer, you act as the first point of contact for international customers and ensure that complex orders are managed correctly and on time.

Qui recherchons-nous ?

We are looking for a Customer Service Officer who thrives on international customer interactions and is able to maintain overview in a fast-paced order environment. You act as the first point of contact for customers and work closely with internal teams on a daily basis to ensure commitments are met.

  • Mbo/Hbo degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office
  • Problem-solving skills to address customer concerns and find appropriate resolutions
  • Experience with SAP and Salesforce is a plus
  • Excellent command of English (near-native) 
  • Experience in customer service within an order-to-cash environment and/or with exposure to managing a customer portfolio, unfortunately call center experience alone is not sufficient for this role

You are accurate and analytical, solution-oriented, and take full ownership of your work. You proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and feel comfortable working in an international, dynamic environment where collaboration is key.

Qu'est-ce que nous vous offrons ?

You will take on an independent role where your experience is put to immediate use and where you can make a visible impact. 

  • Gross monthly salary between €3.500 and €4.350, depending on experience
  • Working days from Monday to Friday during daytime hours (start between 07:30 -  09:00)
  • Work week varies with A & B weeks (week A: 4 days and week B: 5 days or 4,5 days per week)
  • Working from home is possible 3 days a week, it is mandatory to have 2 days at the office

You will be working for an internationally operating organisation within the food industry. The company is characterised by complex logistics processes, high quality standards, and close collaboration between customer service, supply chain, and sales. As a Customer Service Representative, you are responsible for the full order-to-cash process for international customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Processing and managing customer orders from request through to delivery
  • Daily communication with international customers regarding orders, deliveries, and inquiries
  • Coordinating with internal departments such as planning, logistics, and sales
  • Identifying and resolving deviations in the order process
  • Maintaining customer and logistics data in SAP
  • Contributing to improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and customer satisfaction
