Introduction

Are you a hands-on worker who enjoys working in a logistics environment? For our client, an international market leader in food processing solutions, we are looking for a Warehouse Operator for the Spare Parts Warehouse. In this role, you ensure that goods are delivered on time and to the correct location, so the production process continues to run smoothly at all times. The focus of the work is on consolidation and the role is physically demanding.

What you bring to the team:

  • A completed lower secondary education (VMBO level or equivalent)
  • A minimum of one year of experience working in a warehouse or logistics setting
  • A good command of English — Dutch language skills are a welcome bonus
  • A valid forklift certificate

Description de l'emploi

Your role as a Warehouse Operator
As a Warehouse Operator, you are the driving force behind smooth and efficient warehouse logistics. Every day, you make sure that all incoming and outgoing goods are handled accurately, safely, and on time. From receiving and inspecting materials to delivering them to the right production lines, your precision keeps operations running flawlessly.

You’ll also take part in inventory control, prepare shipments, and actively look for ways to make our processes smarter and more efficient.

In short: you are the backbone of the warehouse, ensuring that every product and component ends up exactly where it needs to be.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Accepting and verifying deliveries, including accompanying documentation
  • Organising and storing materials in the correct warehouse locations
  • Picking and staging goods for production according to schedule
  • Conducting stock counts and reporting any irregularities
  • Packing, unpacking, and preparing goods for shipment
  • Operating forklifts and reach trucks safely (a valid certificate is required — or can be obtained via SD Worx Jobs)
  • Taking part in continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse
