Who are we looking for?
  • Technical background (e.g. automotive mechanic, agricultural mechanic or similar)
  • Experience with hydraulics and/or electrical systems (preferred)
  • Ability to read and apply technical drawings
  • Hands-on experience in a technical environment

It is desirable that you work accurately and have a strong focus on quality and safety. You are practical, solution-oriented and enjoy working in a team.

Job description

You will work at an international logistics company where technology and customization are key. At the Weert location, modern excavators are assembled and modified according to customer requirements.

As an Assembly Technician, you are responsible for assembling and modifying machines. You work with hydraulic and electrical systems and ensure each machine is fully tested and ready for delivery. The variety of custom work makes every day different.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Assembling and connecting hydraulic systems (pipes and fittings)
  • Installing electrical systems such as lighting and wiring
  • Installing customer-specific options (VAL work) such as cameras and safety systems
  • Testing machines for functionality and quality
  • Working from technical drawings and instructions
  • Identifying process improvements
  • Collaborating with workshop colleagues
