As an Electrical Technician, you ensure that all inspection and packaging equipment operates reliably, safely, and at optimal performance. You work according to strict safety regulations and combine electrical engineering with mechatronics in an environment where no day is the same. In Leerdam, everything revolves around glass—millions of bottles per day. But without well‑functioning installations, everything comes to a halt. About the Company
O‑I is one of the world’s largest glass manufacturers. Every day, millions of bottles are produced for major brands—and that’s only possible with people who like to get things done. In Leerdam, you’ll find a modern factory where craftsmanship and technology come together. With major investments in new furnaces and sustainable technologies, this is a place building the future of glass.

It’s an environment where you can get your hands dirty, learn from experienced colleagues, and be part of a production process that runs 24/7. People tend to stay here for a long time because they’re proud of what they create and because the team feels like a tight‑knit group. You work with powerful machines, clear processes, and colleagues who know what they’re doing.

Here, you’re not just working on glass—you’re working on something millions of people use every day.

You work in a factory where technology is central: warm, intense, dynamic, and full of challenges. You’re never on your own—you work in a close‑knit team that supports each other and where there’s room for humor.
