Job description

Logistic employee - the control room operator is responsible for overseeing the flow of packages on the sorting lines and ensuring that all processes run smoothly. The role involves continuous monitoring, identifying disruptions, and coordinating with other team members to resolve issues quickly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring workflow: Ensuring that all packages move correctly along the conveyor system
  • Identifying issues: Notifying the team when a package is stuck, misplaced, or blocking the line
  • Stopping the line when necessary: Taking action to pause operations when a correction is required
  • Coordinating with other positions: Communicating clearly in English with colleagues in different roles to explain what is happening and what needs to be done
  • Maintaining smooth operations: Helping guide the overall process so that everything stays organized and efficient
