Working as a welder

Welding is the joining of metal parts or aluminum by using heat. It is a job that requires you to be very technical and precise! As a welder you can use different welding techniques such as: TIG, MIG/MAG,... You have to work with different welding equipment. Welding is custom work and a real skill!

What are your main tasks as a welder?

As a welder, you will perform the following duties: 

• Semi-automatic welding 
• TIG/MIG/MAG welding 
• Good plan reading 
• Working independently 
• Follow quality procedures and checks

Who are we looking for?

• 3rd or 4th grade vocational secondary education (BSO3 or BSO4) 
• 3rd degree technical secondary education (TSO3) 
• Have a sense of accuracy 
• Ability to work together in a team 
• Work independently and have the ability to learn 
• Experience is a plus but not a requirement
