Working as a mechanic

As a mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all machines. You independently schedule maintenance and make sure everything is done on time. You provide good service and are technically inclined.  

It feels a bit like your own company, with you pulling the strings to make sure everything runs smoothly. You can work in this position in a day shift or shift system. There are many different types of mechanics such as: car mechanic, maintenance mechanic, breakdown mechanic, service mechanic and installation mechanic.

What does a mechanic do? 

• Maintenance and repair of all machines/plant/vehicles (depending on the type of mechanic) 
• Independently scheduling maintenance and checking execution 
• Ensuring that the machines keep running
